Zoologist Civet pays homage to the age-old ingredient, the civet, as well as the chypre perfumes of yesteryear, perfumes that refused to be intimidated by raw, seductive, animalistic musks. Civet is a moody and complex concoction shrouded in mystery. It opens with a spicy floral accord, threaded with dark shades of coffee. Little by little it builds, unveiling base notes of leather, moss, and vanilla that combine with distinctive civet musk to create a bewilderingly sophisticated scent that promises a sultry date night.
