The Mancera fragrance brand was created in 2008 and is named after its founder, perfumer Pierre Mancera. Mancera worked for many years as a fragrance developer in the Middle East, during which time he created a wide variety of fragrances with an oriental twist from hand-picked essences. Since some of his clients, including Pierre Montale, were very fond of the fragrances, they suggested that Mancera create his brand after some lightning-fast levels of success.

According to his statement, Pierre Mancera wanted to blend his preference for floral and oriental fragrances with his passion for Art Deco. What is special about Mancera is the symbiosis of southern aromas with western influences.
