Cacique is a fragrance inspired by the life of the leader and warrior of the Cuban Taino Indians, the chief of the tribe, to whom all honors were given, the highest step in the social pyramid, the alpha chief and king.
The perfume has a spicy opening of pink pepper and juniper berries rounded off with labdanum and neroli. From the beginning, the fragrance transmits a feeling of power and of being a piece designed for a specific audience.
Not everyone is born with royal blood and therefore not everyone is a cacique, nor will everyone fall in love with this perfume.
The neroli itself and the pine wood balance the sweetness of the composition, also adding a subtle perception of liquor that links very well with the body notes.
As soon as the perfume begins to dry, the Indian oud is the total protagonist, accompanied by sandalwood, here a natural Indian oud chord has been used that does not overshadow the rest of the components that accompany it. It is a well-blended body that allows patchouli to make an appearance, interspersing waves of incense and vetiver, while orris adds a dirty, dry and wild note. In this way, that feeling of power and primitivism present in the Indian towns of the Caribbean is emphasized.

At the base of the perfume we again find the presence of oud, but this time it is Cambodian, smoother and slightly sweeter that is enhanced by musk and vanilla.
During colonialism many caciques unfortunately ended their lives burned at the stake. As this perfume is a historical portrait of an Indian leader, a slight touch of burnt caramel has been added that makes us a perfect description of this dramatic ending.
