Geza Schoen is a German perfumer known for his avant-garde and unconventional approach to fragrance creation. He was born in Kassel, Germany. Geza's interest in perfumery began when he studied chemistry at the University of Heidelberg. After graduating, she began her formal training in perfumery at Haarmann & Riemer (now Symrise), where she learned the art and science of creating fragrances.
His passion for perfumery has led him to collaborate with several brands and artists, such as Diesel, Ormonde Jayne, Boudicca and Anat Fritz, among others. He is best known for his Escentric Molecules brand, launched in 2006. The brand focuses on unique aromatic molecules with the radiance and depth of character to stand on their own. This approach moves away from traditional perfumery, which uses a mixture of several ingredients to create a fragrance.
