Sophie Bruneau's Journey in the World of Perfumes
From a very young age, Sophie Bruneau felt a deep attraction to perfumes. She collected samples and fragrance advertisements. Although she was also a ballet dancer, pianist, and sculptor, her true passion was always the world of perfumes.
As Marketing Director for several companies in the beauty industry, Sophie was able to create, develop, and launch a variety of perfumes and cosmetics for high-profile brands.
In 2013, the artist decided to found her own perfumery, AFFINESSENCE, whose name means "Affinity of essences."
In 2015, she launched the Base Notes collection. She wanted to take her passion and conviction to the next level by creating her own perfume collection.

Fresh notes, being the most volatile, fade quickly, and the perfume loses its identity and freshness, or simply disappears, leaving the consumer disappointed."
As was done with the Base Notes Collection, they decided to think differently and advance in quality.

Each fragrance in the collection reflects the art and skill of a perfumer, highlighting their favorite base material.
So that each perfumer could feel in full "creative affinity," they were allowed to freely choose the base material that inspired them, without any restrictions, including financial, as they had an unlimited budget.

They wanted perfumers to have the freedom to compose differently, moving away from market trends where all perfumes end up being similar.

In addition to these indelible sillages, she wanted the fragrances to instantly deliver their "base" identity, without being "crushed" on the skin.
They created the ideal volume for each perfume, adding quantity until achieving a perfect fusion.
