He strolled through the most elegant streets, wearing a Panama straw hat, a cane, and, to give himself added style and distinction, the monocle with which he gazed at beautiful women, displaying his refined and polite manners. For him, clothing was undoubtedly very important: custom-made jackets by the most skilled tailors, where the details were the center of attention.
