In his first collaboration with perfumer Frank Voelkl, Kilian Hennessy wanted to recreate the taste of gin on the rocks with a hint of lime, recalling his wife's favorite drink.
Roses on Ice opens with the aquatic coolness of cucumber and the aromatic uplift of juniper berries, creating a sensation of ice, rounded off in a chord with voluptuous Rosa Centifolia. Following a sandalwood and musk drydown, the fragrance expresses the sharp yet deeply infused character of gin consumed at its sweet spot.
