Jacques Fath - L'Iris De Fath - L'Extrait de Parfum
The rebirth of a myth
L'Iris de Fath, the rebirth of a myth. The Iris Gris by Jacques Fath is known as one of the greatest perfumes, if not the greatest, unmatched since its creation. The balanced duo of Iris and Peach reflects the exceptional know-how of perfumer Vincent Roubert. Released in 1947, it disappeared the same year as Fath, in 1954. Often copied and certainly never equaled, it remains unique and timeless.
It was unthinkable that this heritage would remain a prisoner of the limbo of the past. Under the supervision of Creative Director Rania Naim, Parfums Jacques Fath launched an international competition for perfumers, in order to reproduce this exceptional fragrance as closely as possible. The myth is reborn thanks to two young talents chosen unanimously by a committee of experts: Patrice Revillard, Perfumer, and Yohan Cervi, Creative Director of Maelström. Like a chrysalis that turns into a butterfly, it is now known as: L'IRIS de FATH.
"A master floral composition"
L'IRIS DE FATH - L'Extrait de Parfum
The fragrance opens with a luminous accord composed of Neroli and Petit-grain, followed by a fluffy Peach note, sparkling and sweet. The overdose of Iris, complex and rich in all its facets, merges admirably with Peach, creating a heart full of powerful and joyful emotions. A bouquet of Jasmine, Rose and Violet delicately enhances these sensations, while Carnation provides its spicy touch, adding structure to the perfume. Bourbon Vetiver, Sandalwood and Oakmoss Absolute anchor the aroma on the skin through darker and more mysterious facets.
